Patrick Henry beat William Fleming girls 62-44 at PH. The Colonels of Fleming took an early 10-8 lead in the first quarter, but the Patriots came roaring back behind the hot hand of Shelby Fiddler who carded twenty-seven point on the night including seven threes. Savannah Derey chipped in nine. Fleming was led by S Anderson with fifteen while Tori Board notched eleven for the visitors.

Wednesday night Cave Spring pulled away from William Byrd in the second half for a 79-64 win. Coach Gruse’s Knights had a balanced attack with      F 24 Dylan Saunders notching 20 points followed closely by  G 5 Charlie Urgo, F 12 Bryce Cooper, and F 14 Stark Jones with 16, 16, and 15 respectively. Byrd F 20 Tyler Martin led all scorers with 21 points on the night, including 3-three pointers.

Huddle Up

The Northside Vikings held off Cave Spring Tuesday night 61-54 in a game that had some big momentum shifts. Cave led 10-0 at one point only to find themselves down 28-10 a few mintues later. The Knights got it back to four in the second half 48-44 but couldn’t get any closer.
