Crunch radio week 20 of 2024 CrunchTIME, your high school Live radio show for central and southwest Virginia high school sports.
On today’s show we play catchup on what’s been happening in area Boys & Girls Basketball. We recap the results from Northside’s annual NIT tourney. In regards to wrestling, we discuss the final results for each weight class from the Titan Toughman wrestling (Hidden Valley High School) and the Big Orange (William Byrd High School) tournament.
Also in our show today, from this past football season we highlight local players who were name all state in 2A, 3A, 4A, and 5A. 1A will be announced later and we don’t currently have any area teams who are 6A. We also talk about this year’s 2023 Crunch-C.P. York Scholarship winner – Cave Spring OL/DL 70 Preston Lonker, and reiterate our Crunch Coaches of the year, Offensive player(s) of the year, and Defensive player(s) of the year in our three Crunch areas – Roanoke, Lynchburg, and the New River Valley.
