Crunch radio week 22 of 2024 CrunchTIME, your high school Live radio show for central and southwest Virginia high school sports.
On today’s show we are recapping this week’s action in area Boys & Girls Basketball with a focus on a few games, and updating the schedule for area wrestling matches/tourneys. We recap the second day of the annual Chance Harmon tourney up in Floyd, which had been postponed. In news around the area, congrats go out to Mark Lineburg who was announced as the new Brookville Bees football coach, and William Fleming Basketball Coach who reached the 350 wins mark at Fleming. In wrestling, William Fleming dominated day one of their Friday-Saturday event. Also happening this weekend is Christiansburg’s Big Blue Wrestling Tourney with Cave Spring and Salem right near the top. The Crunch teams were out this past week at Salem for the 49-35 Lady Spartans win over EC Glass. We took in the 59-55 Franklin County boys basketball win over Cave Spring on Thursday night. And on Friday we witnessed Roanoke Catholic boys 70-68 OT win over North Cross.
