He believed that a young person could better himself in life if he worked hard at both. C.P. played football, basketball, and baseball in high school for the Mullens Rebels in Southern West Virginia. He earned a scholarship to play football and baseball at Marshall University in the early 1950’s. He often spoke of the generosity of others that helped him continue on his way. Thanks so much for considering. If you can’t or choose not to give, please take a moment to remember C.P. York. and all that high school sports meant and did for you and so many of us in our formative years. It was another kind of education, but extremely important, I think you’ll agree.
All the Best,
Carl
