Welcome to CrunchTIME radio week 24 – Winter 2025, your high school, Live radio show for central and southwest Virginia high school sports.
It’s Crunch TIME Baby!….On today’s show we are talking Boys and Girls high school basketball, and area wrestling. The weather is continuing to wreak havoc at the end of the regular season. Many District Tourneys have been called off. In boys action some big area games this past week saw Radford beat Floyd County 60-55, North Cross run away from Roanoke Catholic 88-64. A big season ending Blue Ridge battle, Northside vs William Fleming, was postponed until Monday. In girls action, James River beat Alleghany 42-37, Liberty-Bedford outpaced Heritage 62-45, and the LCA lady Bulldogs eeked by EC Glass 38-37. In wrestling the regions were on display. Region 4D has been completed, with Region 3C, 5C, and 2D all taking place today. All that and a whole lot more. We are in CrunchTIME show number 23.
