Today’s show we’re talking about last Saturday’s Virginia High School State Championships in football. Our last Crunchland team standing, the Glenvar Highlanders, lost in the state finals 49-27 to Strasburg in Class 2A in Salem. Rappahannock beat Rye Cove 49-14 in Class 1A. Lake Taylor outlasted Kettle Run 48-42 in 2 overtimes. Varina beat Loudoun County in the 4A finals. Maury outpaced Highland Springs 26-7. And finally Oscar Smith won 44-0 over North Stafford.
