Welcome to CrunchTIME radio, promoting high school sports with a special emphasis on Central and SW Virginia High School Football.
We are back at it for another year of Crunch High School Sports. Our focus on this preseason show is mainly football. We honor Coach Billy Miles who recently passed away. Coach Miles played at Andrew Lewis, coached at Salem for nearly three decades and finished up his career as the head coach at Franklin County. Coach Miles was inducted into the Franklin County Hall of Fame. We play an excerpt from a Crunch interview with Coach Miles back in 2018. You won’t wan to miss that. Crunchland is expanding this year from 47 high schools to 80. We are adding a couple new versions – Southside Crunch and SW Mountain Crunch this fall. On this show you’ll also hear our ‘way-too-early’ great 8 team rankings, so check us out.
