CrunchTIME March 19, 2022 area boys & girls basketball in and around the Roanoke Valley. The show features our U.S. Cellular-Crunch state championship post game interview with Auburn Eagle’s Head Coach Terry Millirons on Saturday. We also have our second great segment with another state champion coach on the show. Cave Spring Competition Cheer Head Coach Jen Koll gets into how important strategy is in competition cheering. Last but not least we have a post game interview with Dylan Saunders, Cave Spring’s big man. This interview was from earlier this season after the Knight’s defeated the Abingdon Falcons in the playoffs. The interview was relevant then and relevant for each game after that leading to the state championship win. Crunch is a high school sports media company that was established in 1995 by Carl York in Southwest Virginia. Crunch started solely as a FREE high school football print publication that focused on area high school football. The secret to Crunch is the willingness of area coaches, each week, to talk about their teams, players, and the sport that they have dedicated their lives to for the betterment of our young athletes. Today, Crunch has grown to cover 38 high schools in 15 counties in central and Southwestern Virginia with three unique weekly versions in Roanoke, Lynchburg, and the New River Valley.
