Welcome to CrunchTIME Radio (WPLY AM/FM), week 2 of high school football season. We are a week away from the season’s start. On today’s show our US Cellular-Crunch Hotline guest is Coach Frank Rocco, Liberty Christian Academy Head Coach. The head man takled a little about last year’s Bulldog teaam, as well as the number 1 lineman in the country, Senior Zach Rice, as well as others. Also on the show with pre recorded conversatons with three of our area’s new coaches – Auburn’s David Seabaugh, Jefferson Forest’s J.T. Crews, and Cave Spring’s new leader, Nick Leftwich. We follow that up with a highlight of a previous interview with our Haley Toyota ‘Legends of the Game’ this week, Coach Jim Moscaro (fomerly the head man at North Cross in Roanoke). Finally, we finish off the show with our weekly features – Jimmy Whitaker’s ‘Jimmy Thang’ segment, the “5 things you need to know about High School Football this week,” and the Crunch Great 8 Poll.
