CrunchTIME is back, August 20, 2022 central and southwest Virginia high school football. The show features our two new area high football coaches – Blacksburg’s Zack Leonard and Liberty-Bedfords Daryl Robertson. Coach Leonard went to high school at Patrick Henry-Rnk and comes to the Bruins from Christiansburg where he was an assistant for Alex Wilkens. Coach Robertson returns back to where he went to high school, Liberty-Bedford, and the Minutemen get him from William Fleming where he was an assistant for Jamar Lovelace. We also have quick interviews with LCA Coach Frank Rocco, Lord Botetourt Coach Jamie Harless and Jeff Woody, EC Glass. Harless’ Cavs and Woody’s Hilltoppers play each other in week 1. We also have interviews with Botetourt QB 13 Jakari Nicely and Glass QB 16 George White. CrunchTIME is back, August 13, 2022 central and southwest Virginia high school football with a splash of some area volleyball. The show features our Legendary HS football coaches with Liberty-Bedford Coach Chris Watts. Coach Watts just left the Minutemen coach football in college at Davidson. We wish him well. We also have a few comments from Hidden Valley Head Coach and newly named Athletic Director Scott Weaver as well as Giles Head Man Jeff Williams. The Titans and the Spartans started off fall preseason with a Thursday scrimmage at Bogle Field in Roanoke. Also on the show today is an interview with Hidden Valley Head Volleyball Coach Carla Ponn. Coach Ponn has 503 wins under her belt as her Titans head into the 2022 season.
